The Order of the Common Life (OCL) is a global ecumenical religious order reimagining monasticism into ordinary life. OCL is reimagining monastic formation, re-centering the vocation of Spiritual Direction within the monastic tradition, renewing the Church with the love of God, and working to Re-establish the monastery as urban centers of formation. They believe that a renewed and innovative vision for monasticism must be a part of the Church’s missional witness for the future.
