FoodCycle Indonesia builds a circular food system that rescues surplus food, transforms organic waste, and empowers vulnerable communities. Through its integrated model—food recovery, organic waste recycling, and urban farming—FoodCycle has redistributed over 3 million meal portions and recycled more than 1 million kg of food waste. Its ecosystem supports smallholder farmers with regenerative inputs, strengthens food resilience for vulnerable communities, and equips youth and volunteers with practical skills in agriculture and sustainability. FoodCycle partners with hotels, restaurants, caterers, retailers, manufacturers, and farmers to turn waste into value, proving that environmental impact and community uplift can scale together.
