The investments that he and his partners made formed the proof-of-concept portfolio for Novastar’s first VC fund, launched in 2014. Novastar now manages $300M across three venture funds, partnering with bold entrepreneurs who are forging solutions to the continent's biggest problems. After an 18-year career in strategy consulting, Steve helped set up and lead Geneva Global—a "philanthropic investment bank" that manages grants to more than a thousand projects in the Global South. Steve graduated from Stanford University and earned a PhD from the London School of Economics.
