Rachel Farrington is the Founder & Executive Director of La Cuna Center and an artist and designer with an MFA from Azusa Pacific University. Extensive travel and experience in design and construction management deepened her lifelong interest in place and how people shape—and are shaped by—the places they inhabit. For the past four years, Rachel and her family have been building La Cuna’s 16-acre field station by hand while restoring its native Texas Hill Country prairie, grounding that inquiry in the deep study of one place.
