He is a co-founder of ICON, an Austin-based construction technology company pioneering the use of advanced robotics, AI, and 3D-printing to revolutionize human shelter. ICON achieved a historic milestone by 3D-printing the first home in the United States and has partnered with NASA to build the first habitat on the Moon. In 2017, Evan co-founded Saturn Five, a long-term-hold investment firm focused on buying and operating some of the best small businesses in America. Prior to that, in 2010, he co-founded TreeHouse, a sustainable home improvement startup. In 2006, he co-founded Wedgwood Circle, an angel investment group focused on media and entertainment. Before his entrepreneurial pursuits, Evan worked as an investment banker on Wall Street and as an assistant to a former U.S. President. Evan serves as a mentor at Praxis, a venture group that supports faith-driven entrepreneurs, and at TechStars, a startup accelerator that provides mentorship and seed-stage investment for technology companies. Additionally, he's an Adjunct Professor at the Texas A&M Mays Business School.
